How to view presentation generation errors

Errors and presentation failures will display in a modal window when the presentation is generated. If you are a Matik admin, you can also download a csv list of all generated presentations with error information. To download, navigate to the Analytics page of Matik. On the "Generated Presentations" graph, select the filters you want applied, and click on "Download CSV".

Generation Errors and Failures

Minor Errors

Minor errors with Dynamic Content will still result in a generated presentation in Matik, however, the Dynamic Content with the error will not be populated. When this is the case the "error" column will be populated with more information about the specific error(s) that occurred.

Major Errors

A presentation will not generate when a major error occurs. The "errors" column will be blank, "Status" column will be "error",  and "status_message" column will detail the failure reason.

Troubleshooting Errors

Explanations and resolution steps for common errors can be found in the Common Errors section of our help center. If you need further assistance resolving errors or other issues, please contact our support team at support@matik.com.
