Terms and Definitions
First, we want to make sure you are aware of our common terms and definitions. We will be referencing these terms thoughout the documentation
Term | Definition |
---|---|
Tags | {{ }} tags are applied in the slides and indicate what dynamic content should be inserted and where. |
Dynamic Content | can either be text , chart , table , image , or a condition . The output of dynamic content is what gets inserted into the tags that you have placed on the slide |
Inputs | think of Inputs as variables that are associated with dynamic content. The end user (sales rep) will fill out the Inputs which in turn will be used to customize the dynamic content |
Templates | a collection of slides that contain dynamic content |
Admins | Admins are users who create templates on the Matik platform and publish them to End Users |
End Users | End Users are the end users who access the templates published by Admins |
Onboarding Template Overview
Below is an overview of how to onboard a template onto Matik
-
Creating a Narrative - create your narrative in PPT or Google slides and apply the tags to indicate where you want Matik to insert dynamic content
-
Create Dynamic Content - for each tag you need to create a piece of dynamic content - either text, charts, or tables - and associate Inputs if needed
-
Add Tags & Upload Template - once you have created dynamic content, add the tags to your narrative and upload your template to Matik. Ensure that there are no tags that don’t have a corresponding piece of dynamic content
-
Publish Template - once you have tested the template and can publish the template to all your End Users
