Using HubSpot as a Dynamic Content Datasource

Matik integrates with HubSpot’s CRM to pull data into your templates. Matik can pull data from HubSpot Properties (Objects) and their fields. Custom Properties and Fields are supported.

Getting Started

  1. Create a new piece of Dynamic Content and select your HubSpot data source (See Connecting to CRMs (HubSpot) Article for more details)
  2. Select ‘Object’ for the Source API Field
  3. Select the HubSpot Object you wish to retrieve data from
  4. Select your desired Fields associated with your object
  5. Add filters to narrow down your results. If needed, specify what specific HubSpot Accounts or other object(s) you want returned. Matik Inputs can be used in filter parameters by typing "&:" followed by the input name
  6. (optional) Set your results ordering and your result limit

Limitations

  • At this time, Matik cannot retrieve data from reports or dashboards in Hubspot

  • Only HubSpot’s CRM is accessible from Matik. Data from other HubSpot Products, such as HubSpot Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub, is not supported at this time unless their data is accessible from HubSpot’s CRM

  • Fields from multiple properties cannot be referenced directly. E.g., You cannot pull data from a ‘Company’ Property and a ‘Deal’ property. If you need to reference fields from multiple properties, you can use Google Sheet-based Dynamic Content to combine multiple pieces of HubSpot or other dynamic content by entering your HubSpot dynamic content as a Google sheet Dynamic content input (surrounded by double curly brackets {{hubspot_dynamic_content}}) and joining/ manipulating the data in the google sheet Dynamic Content. See Using Google Sheets with Matik for more details.
