Matik supports connecting to Excel as a data source. The Excel data source can be:
- A Excel file you upload to Matik
- Or an Excel 365 file hosted in the cloud.
For more information on using Excel data sources, see Using Excel with Dynamic Content.
Adding an Excel Data Source
- Navigate to the Data Sources page in Matik
- Click "+ Add New"
- Select "Excel" under Data Source Type
- Name your Data Source
- Upload or select your Excel file.
- Click "Add Data Source" to save
Updating your Excel Data Source
For uploaded Excel files:
- Matik uploads a copy of your Excel file, so changes you make to the file will not be reflected on Matik.
- To update your Excel data, click "Upload Excel file" again to upload your updated file.
For Excel 365 files:
- Matik queries the cloud file, so changes made in Excel 365 will be reflected in Matik.
Matik is not capable of automatically updating cell range references in Dynamic Content. When updating your Excel files, be conscious of the cells Matik uses to input and output data, and make changes to any linked Dynamic Content if these cells' locations are altered.
