Salesforce (SFDC)
First, navigate to the Data Sources page and click on “+ Add New." Select “Salesforce” under the “Data Source Type” field and give the data source a name. Specify the Salesforce Instance type and whether consumers must log in to access this data source when creating a presentation. If you are currently logged into a Salesforce account you don't want to be connected to Matik, log out of it. Click on "Connect to Data Source".
A new window will pop up from SFDC. Log in to the account you would like to connect if you are not already logged in. Once logged in, you will be directed to a page asking if you would like to allow Matik Access to Salesforce. Click "Allow." The pop up will close, and Matik is now connected to Salesforce.

Gainsight
Connecting to Gainsight is similar to connecting to Salesforce.
First, navigate to the Data Sources page and click on “+ Add New." Select “Gainsight” under the “Data Source Type” field and give the data source a name. Enter your Gainsight Base URL, then scroll down and enter your Gainsight API key. If you would like to require your end users to log in to their Gainsight accounts before generating presentations in Matik, click the check box. Finally, remember to test your connection and click “Add Data Source” to save.
This article explains how admins can generate the Gainsight API access key.
HubSpot
To connect to HubSpot, navigate to the Data Sources page and click on “+ Add New." Select "HubSpot" from the “Data Source Type” dropdown and name your data source. If you would like to require your end users to log in to their HubSpot accounts before generating presentations in Matik, click the checkbox.
Matik uses oAuth to complete your connection. Click on “Connect to Data Source” and enter your HubSpot credentials when prompted. Select the HubSpot account you would like to use with Matik and click “Choose Account.”
Give the Matik app permission to connect to HubSpot by clicking on “Connect app” on the next screen. The popup window will close, and your HubSpot data source will be connected.
HubSpot Requirements and Gotchas
The standard HubSpot object “Companies” must be enabled in your instance of HubSpot for the integration to work.
You may run into a connection issue if you delete your HubSpot data source in the Matik app and try to add it as a data source in Matik again.
This can be resolved by going to HubSpot settings > Account Setup > Integrations > Connected Apps, then uninstalling the Matik App. After completing this, you should be able to add HubSpot back into Matik using the instructions above.
