Matik supports uploading an Excel spreadsheet as a data source. Like Google Sheets, an Excel data source can be used solely to obtain data. It can also be used within Dynamic Content to add inputs into a sheet and output calculations within the spreadsheet.
For more information, see Using Excel with Dynamic Content.
Adding an Excel Datasource
- Navigate to the Data Sources page in Matik
- Click "+ Add New"
- Select "Excel" under Data Source Type
- Name your Data Source
- Click on "Upload Excel file" and select your Excel file
- Click "Add Data Source" to save
Updating your Excel Datasource
Matik uploads a copy of your Excel file, so changes you make to the file will not be reflected on Matik. To update your Excel data, click "Upload Excel file" again to upload your updated file.
Matik is not capable of tracking changes to columns and cell locations. When updating your Excel files, be conscious of the cells Matik uses to input and output data, and make changes to any linked Dynamic Content if these cells' locations are altered.
