You can use Matik’s AI to generate executive summaries or slide talk tracks for presentations that you generate in Matik.
- AI talk tracks and executive summaries are based on the content of the presentation. (The AI accounts for images and charts that are included in the deck, not just text-based content).
- The executive summary is added to the speaker notes of the first slide in the deck. Talk tracks are added to the speaker notes of each slide.
- All presentation template types are supported. That includes Google Slides, PowerPoint 365, and PowerPoint files.
Executive summaries or talk tracks can be added before or after the content is generated.
To use AI talk tracks and executive summaries, you must have opted into AI usage within Matik. If an admin has checked “Disable all AI in this account” in Enterprise Settings, then this feature will not be available.
Adding Talk Tracks or Executive Summaries upon Generation
You can add talk tracks and executive summaries when you initiate a new single or bulk presentation generation. In the generation settings pop-up, simply check the box next to “Generate Talk Tracks” and/or “Generate Executive Summary”.
Matik’s AI will automatically populate the selected content while generating your presentation(s).
Generate Talk Tracks or Executive Summaries for Existing Content
You can also add or refresh talk tracks and executive summaries after you’ve generated your content.
Open the presentation detail page for a deck you have already generated in Matik. If you’d like to quickly add new AI content in one click, you can select “Generate Talk Tracks” or “Generate Exec Summary” in the three-dot actions menu.
If you would like to provide additional context via a prompt before generating, select the Presentation Insights icon. Here, you can see the current executive summary/talk track content (if any) and enter a free text prompt. When you click “Regenerate,” Matik’s AI will account for the additional context when generating the new talk tracks or executive summary. This allows you to more effectively tailor or iterate on the AI-generated content. For example, you might use the optional prompt to:
- Specify a particular writing style, including tone or voice.
- Elaborate on your use case, tailor the writing to a particular type of audience, or emphasize a theme.
- Adjust the format of the output, such as specifying the content to be shorter or longer, require bullet points or numerical lists, etc.
Whenever you re-generate talk tracks or an executive summary, Matik will overwrite the previous content in the presentation speaker notes.
